What is your name?
What is your dream role? Why?
Voice actor of comedy in any animated show or movie!
What's your MOST special skill?
What was your first big performance opportunity? Tell us about it.
Had to go on as a lead role with a few days notice for a big musical production in front of a thousand people. Being able to do that has put other pressure situations in perspective.
What role are you completely inappropriate for that you perform superbly in your shower and car?
A super hero leading man.
Favorite dance shoe?
Do you have any sort of ritual before an audition?
Not really, but I try to remind myself that I can only control the work I do. I can't control the casting process
Where did you train in theatre? How has that affected you?
Valparaiso University and NoHo Arts Center in Los Angeles, both have led to great connections and opportunities.
West Side Story. Funny, dramatic, and great music.
Favorite straight play?
The Pillowman- saw it on Broadway and was the greatest live theatre moment that I have experienced.
Do you have any performers that you admire or look up to? Why?
Chris Pratt- he started as a goofy side character on a sitcom and has built himself into the leading man hero. It's impressive.
What keeps you sane offstage?
Worst thing about auditioning?
Lack of direction and the odd feeling of being between performance level and not having anything to help you (ie. props/set/costumes/other characters).
a one-of-a-kind experience for the performer and audience that will/cannot ever be duplicated
