What is your name?
What is your dream role? Why?
Maggie Winslow- A Chorus Line
I started performing as a ballerina, so her monologue in "At The Ballet" gets me every time!
What's your MOST special skill?
What was your first big performance opportunity? Tell us about it.
My first professional job was at Prather Theatre Broadway Palm in Mesa AZ in Babes In Toyland.
What role are you completely inappropriate for that you perform superbly in your shower and car?
I like to rock out to "Your Daddy's Son" from Ragtime in the car.
Favorite dance shoe?
Do you have any sort of ritual before an audition?
Where did you train in theatre? How has that affected you?
Thoroughly Modern Millie. It was the first show I ever saw on Broadway and later I met my fiancé performing in it.
Favorite straight play?
Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike. It's so much fun and the writing is so strong.
Do you have any performers that you admire or look up to? Why?
Lots! David Hyde Pierce is one of my favorites. He uses his quirkiness and eccentricities to enhance his characters. I also love how he can utilize his musical gifts in musicals and straight plays equally. It's all about that timing!
Who is your favorite non-theatre music artist?
What keeps you sane offstage?
My family and my fiancé, Nick Madson
Worst thing about auditioning?
All of it! I hate auditioning!
"All of the arts combined"-Julie Taymor
