Being a fluent Spanish speaker.

I did a few movies when I was little.... but my big break was playing Evita in high school.
What is your go-to audition outfit? Why?
White peplum shirt that im convinced makes me look tan, and dark jeans with leather boots and always earrings bc who am I if I don't have earrings?!
What role are you completely inappropriate for that you perform superbly in your shower and car?
Jamie in The Last Five Years.
Favorite dance shoe?
My LaDukes, but also I've just gotten Miller and Ben taps that I love!!!
Do you have any sort of ritual before an audition?
Honey pastilles or fruit helps because I get super dry when I'm nervous. And if it's baaad, I do a round of tapping meditation
Where did you train in theatre? How has that affected you?
U of Michigan! Taught me a bunch of music and acting skills, but mainly gave me a playground for me to jump in and pull people together and figure it out.
PASSION. I like shows about foreigners falling in love.
Favorite straight play?
The Beauty Queen of Leenane by Martin McDonaugh.... because it's so crushingly funny and agonizingly real.
The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho.
Do you have any performers that you admire or look up to? Why?
I love Patti, Lindsay Mendez, Gina Rodriguez, Kate McKinnon.
Who is your favorite non-theatre music artist?
Esperanza Spalding is a BEAST.
What keeps you sane offstage?
Family, yoga, perspective, and dogs.
What's the worst thing about auditioning?
Not getting answers ever.... they say it's the business of rejection... but really it's the business of not hearing anything until you see the show opened and have to tell yourself "guess I didn't book that one".
